Intended as a birthday present for Merton Russell-Cotes' wife Annie, Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum is now an elegant gallery for contemporary art and museum artifacts. John Frederick Fogerty designed the Art Nouveau building, with interiors by John Thomas and his son Oliver. The hall's stylish design still feels fresh after over a century of use. Major temporary exhibitions are unveiled only twice yearly, but the permanent collection is on view throughout the year. After perusing the museum's collection, enjoy tea in the historic lobby of the Royal Bath Hotel next door.
