Stanley Park is known as Liverpool's most significant and largest park. The 45 hectare (111 acre) park was created in 1870. Today it offers an array of outdoor activities. Rent a bike and receive the first hour free. Whether by foot or by bike, you will encounter many formal gardens, such as the fragrant Rose Garden. Stop to relax by the boating lake, which is frequented by anglers as well as local waterfowl. If you're looking for something more active, half of the park's landscape features sporting facilities, such as putting greens, bowling alleys, and tennis courts. The site also has many children's playgrounds. Check out the park's event schedule to see if you will happen upon a concert at the bandstand or a community event. If you choose to visit by car, the park offers free daily parking. • The kids loved it 😃 very large park grounds amazing day out! The park seemed a little run down lots of structural poles but nothing on them, zip wire missing, cargo net missing, that was the only disappointing thing saying that the park is still amazing and better than most. Smoke free and dog free in the playground.
  • What a lovely and welcoming park especially as they have the classic car show on today. 20224 all the family and still some quiet spots around even though it's packed with people! We ventured out on the pedalos in the 27-degree heat. This is not for the faint hearted! Fortunately the ice cream stall next to the pedalos is excellent!
