  • The first day we came it was rainy and windy, got some dramatic photos. Came back two days later and had our picnic lunch here, sunny day, so different photos.  more »
  • One of my favourite spots on Orkney. Check the tide charts online and cross to walk the whole island, a wide range of seas birds and the Brough. Stunning sun sets after a clear day.  more »

  • Excellent location, Iron Age village on the island can be visited. Check tide times because the causeway is submerged at high water. Charges apply in summer Good parking facilities
  • Awesome place to visit. It was an extremely early low tide the day I went so there were no other people about. I saw a few puffins among the nesting birds on the north east side cliff face. Definitely worth the visit!
