The central location and gardens of City Hall attract workers on their lunch breaks, as well as students seeking a patch of green between classes. The gardens are full of statues and memorials commemorating various historical figures and events, including a statue of Queen Victoria, a granite column paying homage to the American Expeditionary Force, and a Titanic memorial. The building itself still operates, so much of it is closed off to the public, but the facade is worth a photo. Take a stroll through the gardens, or join the ranks on the benches with your lunch. PutCity Hall into our Belfast planning website and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

If only the walls could speak, the tales they could tell, both for inside and outside. Get some details out of the way, built by 1906 in a baroque style. Intended to be a landmark that would live long in the memory. Outside, stylish but modest in size, whilst internally, a decor of sheer beauty, a flowing staircase with various marble structures, stained glass windows and a coat of arms for Belfast. Even though it suffered many destructive moments, including the Blitz, it still stands proudly, with gardens and seating areas commendably maintained. With a cenotaph obliging both communities, it stands proudly and is a full representation of the modest but stylish attitude of the friendly warm people from Belfast. "Modesty is the gentle art of enhancing your charm by pretending not to be aware of it."...
Very cool place, the grounds are well kept, people relax outside on the grass throughout the day. They have a free exhibition for visitors that has about 17 rooms; goes over a bunch of history and is very informative. Overall a must see in Belfast!
