  • I`ve been there in 2014 May, weather was not the best, but enough good to enjoy the garden of this house, which is great, well maintenanced, beautiful. Interesting history as George Washington`s family stayed there. House is not too huge, however has very old parts, hundreds of years. (there is a wing which is fully restored) A guided tour is available. If someone has a few hours in the area, it is worth to have a look and chill out.
  • Beautiful home & gardens. Lots of unique treasures. Definitely worth making the trip and taking the time to listen to and engage with the guides. We got a couple lovely cafe lattes in the cafe. If it’s not in your back yard, double check that they are open before heading over.
