  • Stopped here as had read about the dark hedges. Parked in the car park which was £2 so very reasonable & walked through when we got to the start of the dark hedges there were clear signs advising no.....  more »
  • At the right time of day, from the right angle, with the right weather, with nobody else around, these trees are impressive. The trouble is from any other angle it's just a country lane that's a bit.....  more »

  • Big road with some old looking trees. Would of been better had there not been 50 billion tourists on it. It still would have been a road with old trees though. I know it was in game of thrones but it's not like there are swords and stuff there. It's just a road and some old trees and 50 billion tourist. My wife and I are proud to say we were 2 of those 50 billion obviously. Would I go again? Probably not. Did I enjoy it? As a fan of both roads and trees I cant believe it took me this long to realise the pleasures of combing the 2. Up until this point I had never seen a tree by a road before as I live in hole in the ground. I do like tourists though, just not in this great a number. I liked 1 other tourist on this occasion and that was my wife.
  • Game of Thrones made this place a natural relic, but besides the television glam, it’s truly a great sight to see. Hold onto your hat because the wind is no joke. I recommend you get here either early in the day or late in the evening because the midday crowds hinder any potential photos!
