  • a stunning ruin of a castle, access was difficult due to the high water levels. it well worth a visit though, an honesty box is there for way of admission fee.
  • Castle ruin care should be taken especially with young children. Nice stop for a picnic, or for walks in the surrounding area, car park has limited spaces, watch the pot holes at entrance.
