Friday Market, Fujairah

#2 of 6 in Shopping in Fujairah
Farmers Market · Hidden Gem · Flea Market
Don't be fooled by its name--Friday Market is open seven days a week and an excellent hunting ground for traditional souvenirs, delicious street food, and affordable goods. Remember to haggle, as most items can be bought below the asking price. Aside from grabbing a couple of bargains, visiting the market is an eye-opening experience for those looking to glimpse the lives of ordinary citizens. The market has recovered well after a devastating fire that destroyed many shops in 2015. Plan your Friday Market visit and explore what else you can see and do in Fujairah using our Fujairah online vacation planner.

  • Everytime I go to Fujairah, I always come here to have my favourite grilled corn. They serve it better here.  more »
  • Its a nice change to shop for fruits, vegetables and plants from our usual haunts in Dubai. The attraction for me is local produce from Fujairah and Oman. Then you have carpet sellers from Pakistan and Afghanistan with whom you need to be a good negotiator of rates first quoted.
  • Best place to get fresh fruits, locally grown vegetables. Also u can find best nursery to buy plants of many varieties.. carpet stores are quite famous.
