Built in 1735 as a strategic watchtower and long considered a major defensive fortress, Al Bithnah Fort is now an excellent place for surveying the stunning landscape from a high vantage point. Look for the intricate decorative designs that still adorn the remaining walls. Bring your camera, as the views of the surrounding area and the markings on the walls beg to be captured. The fort doesn't get particularly busy, so leisurely visits can be arranged on a whim. For Al Bithnah Fort and beyond, use our Fujairah vacation planner to get the most from your Fujairah vacation.

Its a secluded place... good for taking a break... not for the elderly... or the too young... a bit dangerous for children if left unsupervised. Good all rounder... a bit secluded quite place... surrounded by date trees. You can pack a lunch n go on a windy cool day. It will be a great experience.
An enjoyable visit. Well kept and tidy. The caretaker and guide was helpful, providing a limited yet informative brief about the historical aspects.
