Burj Khalifa, Dubai
Marvel at Burj Khalifa, the 829.8 m (2,722 ft) high futuristic centerpiece of the modern downtown area. Upon construction in 2010, the mega skyscraper ranked as the world's tallest manmade structure. Designed by architect Adrian Smith, it incorporates patterns from Islamic art and architecture, with its tapering tiers reminiscent of traditional spiral minarets. Enjoy the view from the outdoor observation deck on the 124th floor: at 452 m (1,483 ft) above the city, you'll gain a true bird's-eye perspective on the developing metropolis below. Afterwards, stroll around the palm-lined pathways of the 11 hectare (27 acre) landscaped park, featuring flowering trees, gardens, benches, and water features. Don't miss the massive fountains at entrance to the building. Burj Khalifa Reviews
Day visit only from the other side in Dubai mall. May be worth paying the ticket but probably at night as the views are probably more spectacular more »
So I can now say I’ve been in the tallest building in the world. You have two options. You can go up to the 124th/125th floors (costs about £30) or choose to go up to the 148th floor (cost about £80).... more »
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
It was really breath taking being here at world's highest building. It's truly one of my most memorable experiences in the Middle East. To make things more exciting, their elevator is one of the fastest and it gives every guests the thrill as it does its countdown with light shows on. There are also telescopes to view the whole city below. It was a majestic view seeing all the beautiful architecture and engineering human can make. Every bits and turns there are awesome. There is also fun in-house photo sessions for souvenirs and souvenir items available. One of the world's tallest building. What a view and a structure. The best creation made by man till now. Splendid ambience. Also you will have a musical fountain aside to the tallest building. The location is inside the Dubai s biggest mall which is Dubai mall. Also u will find an aquarium and the under water zoo. The best part is the lighting art which is shown after every 30 minutes. The most memorable and extremely thoughtful place of the world.Words really can't explain what it was like being at the top. Burj Khalifa ❤️.
