Alserkal Cultural Foundation, Dubai

Alserkal Cultural Foundation was established in the Heritage House No. 13 at Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, on May 2008. The Foundation was created with the sole aim of supporting talents and artists based from around the region.

We approach and engage emerging artists to develop and share their talents and skills, to project and showcase their own unique creations in our foundation.

Major focus areas:

Exhibition Area

Dedicated spaces to display art in all genres and from all eras. There are five halls exhibiting artworks, painting, photography, installation, interactive art, new media, sculptures and limited edition prints.

Creativity Corner

A souvenir spot, with a variety of unique and locally hand-made art and crafts fabricated by creative minds. The design of the shop safeguards the integrity of the villa in which the Foundation is located, and is made of recycled material, keeping it environment friendly.

Fashion Corner

A collection of contemporary clothing connecting Arab traditions with the modern age, by visionary fashion designers to promote their own feminine lines with an accessible price for the modern demand.

Book Corner

A library and bookshop with a wide range of books related to Art, Architecture, Travel, Design, Culture of the Region and Emirati History.
