    I found this Cathedral beautiful luscious and amazing even when it is raining outside it still looked amazing you can book a hotel right next door to this Cathedral. And insiders Cathedral I found it....  more »

    The Cathedral of St. Sophia is the Roman Catholic Church in Zhytomyr, the Cathedral of Kiev-Zhitomir diocese (together with St. Alexander's Cathedral in Kiev). Built in 1746, in 1789 – 1801 rebuilt. The temple feast is on May 15. In 2011 in front of the St. Sophia Cathedral, a monument to the Pope John Paul II was erected. Wonderful Cozy Temple! Organ, library, catechises. Services in Ukrainian and polish.
