Sweet Bottom Dive Center, St. Croix

Great full-service dive shop. Excellent staff, new high-quality rental gear and the fabulous Cane Bay Wall just across the street.

Had a wonderful vacation at Carambola Resort with my wife and 2 daughters last week. One of the highlights of our time there was snorkeling right off the beach of the resort. We went to the Sweet Bottom Dive Shop and had a wonderful snorkeling lesson with Michelle. This was something completely new to us and Michelle was very patient and helpful in explaining the basics and taking us for a "test drive" in the Resort's pool. We then headed out to the beach and explored the amazing reefs teaming with beautiful marine life. The Sweet Bottom Shop owner, Mark, was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. He's a retired paramedic and even helped my wife with a water-in-the-ear issue. If there were 10 stars I would give them all to the Sweet Bottom Dive Center for being professional, passionate about sharing the amazing beauty of the ocean, and genuine kindness. Their prices are more than fair. In fact, the cost of $15 rental for mask, snorkel tube and fins for 24 hours is the best deal I found on the island during our wonderful stay. Do yourself a favor and check out the Sweet Bottom Dive Center!!!!
