Explore some of the most notable ruins of an ancient town in Asia Minor at Side Museum. A complex of Roman baths, with pools and mosaics dating from the 5th and 6th centuries CE, houses the museum's collection. The exhibits include sun dials, portraits and busts, sarcophagi and steles, weapon embossing work, columns, pedestals, and capitals from Roman, Hellenistic, and Byzantine periods. Look for the Roman copies of Greek statues of Heracles, Hermes, Athena, Apollo, the Three Graces, and Nike. The late Hittite period is represented by several basalt craters. Professor Arif Müfid Mansel discovered most of the artifacts in excavations during 1947-1967. • Well worth a visit to see statues, exhibits etc. Air con a nice relief from the heat of the day.
  • It's really good but small. Other parts of the ancient city can restore like this part and become a huge museum. Modern road should be removed over the ancient pieces
