  • Pretty nice and quiet and one of few large green places around Ankara. Not quite recommended on weekends as it's usually over crowded, especially when the weather is fine. If you go for a picnic (in case you plan to have a barbecue and you're not vegetarian/vegan), you should definitely pass by the butcher's shop called Bizim Kasap, on the right side of the pavement in the town center of Kızılcahamam. I bet that it's the most delicious lam chops you've ever tasted! Grab your meat and head for the park and enjoy your stay! Ps. If you like to go for a trail run (which I do), the national park offers you a very nice route, not that recommended for beginners though as it's full sharp up and downhills. One of few nice technical terrain for long trails around Ankara, give it a try and share your experience.
  • The hiking trails are nice. There also new bike trails. But I found it very underwhelming in terms of landscape
