  • Promotion: On the ground floor of the museum building, the Administration section and the 8 showcases in the hall on the left-hand side of the entrance were started with Bağbasi works belonging to the late Calcolithic period and continued with the first bronze period works of Karataş Semayük. Still on the same floor, selected specimens from the graves and storage containers belonging to the same periods are exhibited. In the Hall 3, Karataş Semayük was exhibited in the original locations of 3 cubic graves found in the cemetery area. The works found in Hacımusalar Höyük and Karacakır excavations were exhibited in the exhibition Hall No. 1 on the right side of the floor. In other showcases, the findings obtained in KARABURUN1, Kızılbel and Bayındır tumulus excavations are exhibited, Lycian City coins in the hall 3, Roman imperial coins are exhibited on the left side of the floor 5th in the Hall 5. Imitation specimens belonging to the century Apple treasure are exhibited. 6 The halls of the Roman Byzantine votive steles, sarcophagus and sculpture pieces are exhibited in the daily use of vessels and selected samples from medical instruments. 7 The Roman Byzantine architectural fragments found around Elmalı are exhibited in the hall. Karaburun and Kızılbel tomb chambers which have been reconstructed in their original size in Halls 4 and 8 of the 1st floor are presented to visitors with colorful pictures of the walls. The backyard was used as an open display area where Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine tomb steles, column fragments, architectural elements are exhibited. The basement of the building is used as a repository of artifacts.

  • Located 111 km. southwest of Antalya, Elmali and its environs have been the scene of the development of many civilizations continuously from the Neolithic period to the present day with its unique strategic and geographical location. The settlements, tombs, architectural findings and finds unearthed as a result of archaeological surveys and excavations in the region indicate the existence of very high and different cultures in the region. Elmali Museum, which has an important place among the archaeological and historical museums of Turkey, exhibits very important archaeological artifacts that illuminate the history of the region. Elmali Museum, Gundogan Neighborhood, is located in the Old Government House on Ibrahim Elmalili Street. Eleven exhibition halls were created within the building, three of which were on the ground and eight on the first floor, in accordance with the needs of the museum. The museum, whose exhibition works were completed at the beginning of 2011 under the directorate of Antalya Museum, has been opened to visitors as of 13.06.2011. The museum also features a garden with an open-air gallery. The exhibition in the administration section on the ground floor of the museum building and the 8-window display in the I No.lu hall on the left side of the entrance was started with the works of Bagbasi from the late chalcolithic period; Karatas was continued with the first bronze-period works of Semayük. Also on the same floor, samples selected from tombs and storage containers from the same periods are exhibited. 3 cube tombs found in karatas Semayük cemetery area in 3 No.lu halls were exhibited in original locations. On the right side of the 1st floor, in the 1No.lu exhibition hall, the artifacts found in the excavations of Hadsmus, Höyük and Karacakir were exhibited. Other showcases display the finds obtained during excavations of Karaburun, Kizilbel and BayIndir Tumulus; Lylycity coins and Roman imperial coins in 3 No.lu halls; On the left side of the first floor and in the 5No.lu hall, 5 BC. Imitation examples of the 19th century Apple treasure are on display.
