  • On a cold winter night, II. Murad has a dream. In his dream, the Prophet said that the Prophet had been in the world of World War II. Murad shows Khan a place on the banks of the Tunca River and orders him to build a mosque there. On this order, i.e. Murad immediately, in no time, starts the construction of the mosque with great speed. According to the mosque's kit, its construction was completed in 1434. First higher education institution in the Balkans: Dar-ul-Hadis Books and ancient sources on the city of Edirne indicate that the Dar-ul-Hadith Mosque was thought and built as a "hadith school", as its name implies. Unfortunately, only the tombs in the mosque and garden have survived to this day. The madrasah part was destroyed and lost. This building, which is a large madrasah of the time, today looks like a small neighborhood masjid. Fatih Sultan Mehmed, born in Edirne, also intisapded in this "hadith school" built in 1434 and completed his first hadith training there. When we look at the number and nature of foundations tasked with meeting the needs of Dar-ul-Hadis, the first higher education institution in the Balkans, it is not difficult to comprehend that it is indeed a very large madrasah. The foundations of the mosque are as follows: 188 shops, 2 bakeries, 3 houses and 2 villages in Edirne. These foundations, whose income is linked to Dar-ul-Hadis, are learned from the mosque foundation located in Topkapi Palace today. "Garden of Eden" and tombs The ancients, after saying "there is no mistake in the exhibition" or "hypothetical", have given the courage that anything can be said.
