Zadar

— 8 nights
Situated along the Adriatic Sea, Zadar preserves a medieval old town that is entirely contained on a peninsula.
Family-friendly places like Sea Organ (Morske Orgulje) and Zrmanja will thrill your kids. Venture out of the city with trips to Plitvice Lakes National Park (The Lower Lakes & Plitvice Lakes National Park), Modric Cave (in Rovanjska) and Telascica Nature Park (in Dugi Island). And it doesn't end there: identify plant and animal life at Sokolarski Raptor Centre, enjoy the sand and surf at Kolovare Beach, contemplate the long history of Church of St. Donat, and discover the deep blue sea with Bougainville Diving.

To find more things to do, reviews, and tourist information, go to the Zadar sightseeing tool.

If you are flying in from Israel, the closest major aiports are Zadar Airport, Split Airport and Pula Airport. Expect a daytime high around 24°C in October, and nighttime lows around 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Fri) so you can travel back home.
