Manchester is a town in, and one of two shire towns (county seats) of, Bennington County, Vermont, United States. Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Fri): contemplate the waterfront views at Battenkill River, then steep yourself in history at Robert Frost Stone House Museum, and then admire the majestic nature at Lake Shaftsbury State Park.

St. Saviour's Church : and Egg Rock Light will appeal to history buffs. The Forest City

Maine's biggest and perhaps most vibrant city, Portland was established as a fishing village in 1633 and grew to become New England's largest port.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Tue): head outdoors with Mt. Apatite, trek along Auburn Riverwalk, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, and finally stroll through Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary. On the 7th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: examine the collection at Maine Jewish Museum, take in the architecture and atmosphere at The Cathedral Of The Immaculate Conception, stroll the grounds of Eastern Cemetery, then learn about winemaking at Maine Mead Works, and finally stroll around Mill Creek Park.

Providence has undergone a major upgrade in recent years, transforming from a rough-around-the-edges industrial city into an epicenter of culture.
Visit Crescent Park Looff Carousel and Lippitt House Museum for their historical value. Step off the beaten path and head to East Bay Bike Path and First Baptist Church in America. Explore Providence's surroundings by going to Bristol (Hope Street & Audubon Society Environmental Education Center).
