Located in the popular holiday region of Ticino, Lugano is the largest Italian-speaking town in Switzerland.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Monte Tamaro and Lido Locarno. Explore Lugano's surroundings by going to Lungolago Di Ascona (in Ascona) and Falconeria Locarno (in Locarno). There's still lots to do: kick back and relax at Lido di Lugano, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Chiesa Collegiata dei SS Pietro e Stefano, stroll around Parco Civico, and get great views at Monte San Salvatore.

Oslo, Norway to Lugano is an approximately 7- hour combination of flight and train. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or drive. Martigny is the capital of the French-speaking district of Martigny in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. Start off your visit on the 14th (Tue): get in on the family fun at Parc d'Attractions du Chatelard, then take in the dramatic scenery at Cascade de la Pissevache, then learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Zoo Et Piscine des Marecottes, and finally find something for the whole family at Swiss Vapeur Parc. On your second day here, examine the collection at Fondation Pierre Gianadda and then cool off at Aquaparc.
