Famous for the groves of coconut trees from which it takes its name, Kovalam offers a long, white sandy beach on the Arabian Sea.
Start off your visit on the 2nd (Thu): kick back and relax at Hawa Beach, kick back and relax at Lighthouse Beach, then enjoy the sand and surf at Kovalam Beach, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 3rd (Fri): enjoy the sea views from Vizhinjam Lighthouse and then enjoy the sand and surf at Samudra Beach.
