Fort William

Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. Venture out of the city with trips to Eilean Donan Castle (in Kyle of Lochalsh), Glenfinnan Viaduct (in Glenfinnan) and Bridge of Oich (in Invergarry). And it doesn't end there: look for all kinds of wild species at Highland Titles Nature Reserve, pause for some photo ops at Seated Sculpture, learn about all things military at The Commando Museum, and explore the activities along Loch Shiel.

For maps, photos, more things to do, and tourist information, use the Fort William attractions app.
