Kick off your visit on the 20th (Sat): sample the fine beverages at The Clydeside Distillery, take a stroll through Sauchiehall Street, then get engrossed in the history at The Tenement House, then steep yourself in history at Glasgow Green, and finally take in the exciting artwork at Sharmanka Kinetic Theatre. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: identify plant and animal life at Loch Lomond Park Centre and then contemplate the long history of Provand's Lordship.

Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 23rd (Tue): stop by Skye Weavers, see the interesting displays at Colbost Folk Museum, and then explore the striking landscape at Trotternish Ridge.

Kick off your visit on the 24th (Wed): get engrossed in the history at People's Story, stroll the grounds of Greyfriars Kirk, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Mary's Cathedral. Keep things going the next day: snap pictures at Queensferry Crossing, steep yourself in history at Hopetoun House, view the masterpieces at Jupiter Artland, then steep yourself in history at Gladstone's Land, then stroll the grounds of Greyfriars Kirkyard, and finally wander the streets of New Town.

Do a combination of bus and train from Isle of Skye to Edinburgh in 8.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and train; or take a bus. In July, plan for daily highs up to 22°C, and evening lows to 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 26th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
