America's Finest City
Divided into neighborhoods with distinct characters and cultural heritages, San Diego sits just north of the Mexican border and offers visitors a blend of tourist attractions, including a lively nightlife, diverse cuisine, and a thriving musical scene. You'll find plenty of places to visit near San Diego: Anaheim (Disney California Adventure Park, Soarin' Around The World, &more), Self Realization Fellowship Hermitage & Meditation Gardens (in Encinitas) and Oceanside Pier (in Oceanside). Spend the 24th (Fri) exploring the fascinating underwater world at SeaWorld San Diego. There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at USS Midway Museum, tour the pleasant surroundings at Children's Pool, identify plant and animal life at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, and shop like a local with Gaslamp Quarter.
For where to stay, ratings, reviews, and tourist information, refer to the San Diego road trip app.
