For those not from the South, Raleigh might be one of the region's better-kept travel secrets.
Let the collections at North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences and North Carolina Museum of Art capture your imagination. Family-friendly places like Marbles Kids Museum and Sarah P. Duke Gardens will thrill your kids. Explore Raleigh's surroundings by going to North Carolina Zoo (in Asheboro), Beggars and Choosers (in Pittsboro) and Museum of Life + Science (in Durham). There's much more to do: see the interesting displays at North Carolina Museum of History, take in nature's colorful creations at JC Raulston Arboretum at NC State University, catch a live event at PNC Arena, and stroll around Pullen Park.

As the state’s second largest city, San Antonio embodies Texas’ rich cultural heritage while maintaining the Old West charm of an oil town.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like The San Antonio River Walk and SeaWorld. Your inner history buff will appreciate The Alamo and King William Historic District. Venture out of the city with trips to Austin (Bullock Texas State History Museum & Texas State Capitol).
