A modern metropolis of glassy skyscrapers, waterside boulevards, and lush residential neighborhoods, Perth sits on the edge of the Swan Coastal Plain.

Kids will appreciate attractions like Mandurah Cruises and The Perth Mint. Get outdoors at Swan River and Cottesloe Beach. Venture out of the city with trips to Rockingham (Rockingham Beach & Penguin Island), Fremantle (Fremantle Prison, The Fremantle Round House, &more) and Fremantle Chocolate (in Bibra Lake). Dedicate the 23rd (Mon) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's much more to do: walk around Kings Park and Botanic Garden, get in on the family fun at Adventure World, pause for some photo ops at The Bell Tower, and kick back and relax at City Beach.
