Mt. Fuji of Hokkaido

Ranking as the most popular ski resort in Hokkaido, mountaintop Niseko-cho boasts great slopes and surprisingly vibrant nightlife.

Venture out of the city with trips to Toyako-cho (Silo Viewing Platform & Mt. Usu Funka Memorial Park), Fukidashi Park (in Kyogoku-cho) and Otaru (The Former Otaru Branch of Mitsui Trading Company, The Site of Temiya Line, &more). There's much more to do: take in the dramatic natural features at Cape Kamui, stop by The Mad Hatter, Niseko, hit the slopes at Niseko Village Ski Resort, and make a trip to Cape Chikyu.
