Famous for the groves of coconut trees from which it takes its name, Kovalam offers a long, white sandy beach on the Arabian Sea.
Start off your visit on the 5th (Mon): contemplate the long history of Rock cut temple, stroll through Lighthouse Beach, then enjoy the sand and surf at Kovalam Beach, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kovalam Avaduthura Devi Temple.
