Known as the "Pink City" because of the color of the stone used for many of its notable structures, Jaipur draws visitors with its chaotic street life and a slew of colorful bazaars selling everything from handmade pottery to tie-dye scarves.

Spend the 16th (Mon) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. New Delhi to Jaipur is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. In November, daily temperatures in Jaipur can reach 35°C, while at night they dip to 17°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 20th (Fri) to allow time to travel to Jaipur.

Start off your visit on the 21st (Sat): stop by Heritage Textiles, then step into the grandiose world of Jal Mahal, then look for all kinds of wild species at EleSafari, and finally explore the world behind art at Pratap Celebrity Wax Museum Jaipur. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 22nd (Sun): see Off-Road Tours, then steep yourself in history at Jaigarh Fort, then don't miss a visit to Jagat Shiromani Ji Temple, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Monkey Temple.
