Iceland's southernmost village, Vik, sports some of the country's wildest and most dramatic coastline.
On the 18th (Mon), examine the collection at Skogar Museum, then explore the striking landscape at Mýrdalsjökull, then take in the dramatic natural features at Sólheimajökulll, and finally appreciate the history behind Voyages Friendship Statue. On your second day here, trot along with a tour on horseback, then enjoy the sand and surf at Reynisfjara Beach, then stroll through Black Sand Beach, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Vik Church.
