A global center of finance and transportation, Frankfurt is perhaps best known for its futuristic cityscape.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Romer and Cathedral of St. Bartholomew (Dom St. Bartholomaus). Change things up with these side-trips from Frankfurt: Heidelberg (Old Bridge (Karl Theodor Bridge) & Schloss Heidelberg), Wurzburg (Würzburg Residence & St. Kilian Cathedral) and Rothenburg (Das Plonlein, Town Walls, &more).
