Although Cobh played a major role in the story of Irish emigration to America, most people know it as the final port of call for the ill-fated Titanic.
Take a break from the city and head to Mayfield Birds of Prey and Benvoy Beach. Get some historical perspective at Cobh Cathedral and St. Anne's Church. Get out of town with these interesting Cobh side-trips: Charles Fort (in Kinsale), Birds of Prey Educational Centre (in Midleton) and Blarney Castle & Gardens (in Blarney). There's still lots to do: get to know the resident critters at Fota Wildlife Park, look for all kinds of wild species at Doneraile Wildlife Park, appreciate the extensive heritage of Barnane Walk, and meet the residents at The Donkey Sanctuary.

For traveler tips, where to stay, other places to visit, and tourist information, read our Cobh trip site .

London, UK to Cobh is an approximately 6-hour combination of car and flight. You can also drive.
