While Luxembourg City boasts the shiny headquarters of several European institutions and EU offices, it is also home to a beautiful old town that's designated as a World Heritage Site.
On the 5th (Sat), steep yourself in history at Palace of the Grand Dukes (Palais Grand-Ducal), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Notre Dame Cathedral (Cathedrale Notre Dame), then get to know the fascinating history of Le Chemin de la Corniche, then step into the grandiose world of Chateau de Vianden, and finally pause for some photo ops at Statue of Johannes Bertels. Keep things going the next day: explore the different monuments and memorials at Luxembourg American Cemetery Memorial, don't miss a visit to Barrio Grund, then examine the collection at National Museum of Art and History (Musee National d'Histoire et d'Art), and finally explore the striking landscape at Casemates du Bock.
