Kick off your visit on the 1st (Wed): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sint-Michielskerk, thenappreciate the extensive heritage of Kraanlei, thenidentify plant and animal life at Molsbroek, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Saint Peter's Abbey. Brussels to Ghent is an approximately 1-hour car ride. You can also take a train; or take a bus. May in Ghent sees daily highs of 19°C and lows of 9°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Fri) to allow enough time to take a train to Bruges.
