Experience small-town Bali in Ubud, an atmospheric town surrounded by small settlements, farms, and rice paddies.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Taman Ayun Temple and Mount Kawi. Let the collections at Five Art Studio and Gallery Ada Garuda capture your imagination. Take a break from Ubud with a short trip to Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple in Sebatu, about 36 minutes away. On the 14th (Sun), enjoy an adventurous day among the treetops at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks. And it doesn't end there: tour the pleasant surroundings at Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, cruise along Suarta Bali Tour, skim along the rocks with a canyoning and rapelling tour, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Tirta Empul Temple.
