The cultural, economic, and political center of the country, Vienna has developed from its early Celtic and Roman roots into a medieval and Baroque city, with an old town that was designated a World Heritage Site in 2001.
On the 16th (Mon), contemplate the long history of Karlskirche and then awaken your taste buds at some of the top wineries in the area. On your second day here, contemplate the long history of Ringstrasse, then get lost in a book at State Hall of the Austrian National Library, then make a trip to Rathausplatz, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of the Jesuits.

Kaprun

Take a break from the city and head to Klammsee and Badestrand Hallstatt. Take a break from Kaprun with a short trip to Lake Hallstatt Explorer in Hallstatt, about 1h 45 min away.
