Argassi

— 7 nights
Argasi is a village and a community in the southern part of the island of Zakynthos. Get out of town with these interesting Argassi side-trips: Xigia Beach (in Koroni) and Navagio Beach (Shipwreck Beach) (in Anafonitria). The adventure continues: get some thrills on the water with a speed boat tour, make a splash at Tsilivi Waterpark, kick back and relax at Banana Beach, and stroll through Kalamaki Beach.

To find reviews, other places to visit, more things to do, and more tourist information, use the Argassi driving holiday planning website.

Bucharest, Romania to Argassi is an approximately 9-hour combination of flight and car. You can also do a combination of flight and car. Traveling from Bucharest in July, plan for a bit warmer nights in Argassi, with lows around 23°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 13th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel back home.

Flower of the East
Located just off the west coast of mainland Greece, Zakynthos enjoys a reputation as both a party destination and a family-friendly getaway. Packed with foreign tourists along its eastern and southeastern coastline, the island also features numerous tranquil pockets in its central region of forested mountains and rolling hills. Avoid the overcrowded east by discovering the island's less-explored northern sections, which contain a series of deep caves that feature sun reflecting on seawater and white stones, creating a striking shade of azure particular to this part of the world. The northern capes of the island also offer the calmest waters, which lap a string of developed beaches with plenty of modern facilities.
