The capital of Wales, Cardiff is a very green city indeed, boasting more green space per person than any other place in the country.
Start off your visit on the 20th (Wed): see the interesting displays at Baked Bean Museum of Excellence and then step into the grandiose world of Cardiff Castle. On the next day, steep yourself in history at Big Pit National Coal Museum, see the interesting displays at St Fagans National Museum of History, and then take in the waterfront at Cardiff Bay Wales.

Belfast to Cardiff is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of flight and train. In May, plan for daily highs up to 17°C, and evening lows to 9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 21st (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Porthmadog.

Porthmadog, known locally as "Port", and since 1974, rendered into Welsh from its former Anglicised form, Portmadoc, is a small coastal town and community in the Eifionydd area of Gwynedd, in Wales. Get out of town with these interesting Porthmadog side-trips: Caernarfon (Beacon Climbing Centre & Caernarfon Castle) and Cader Idris (in Dolgellau). There's lots more to do: take in the awesome beauty at Snowdon, head outdoors with Dragon Raiders Activity Park, look for all kinds of wild species at Gwaith Powdwr Nature Reserve, and don't miss a visit to Gelert's Grave.

Llandudno is a seaside resort, town and community in Conwy County Borough, Wales, located on the Creuddyn peninsula, which protrudes into the Irish Sea. Kick off your visit on the 25th (Mon): admire the natural beauty at Bodnant Garden, look for gifts at Bodnant Craft Centre, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saint Tudnos Church, then stroll through Great Orme, and finally take a leisurely stroll along Llandudno Pier. On the 26th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: steep yourself in history at Plas Mawr, steep yourself in history at Smallest House in Britain, then step into the grandiose world of Conwy Castle, and finally go for a walk through Llandudno Promenade.
