Take a trip to Abu Dhabi to discover a modern metropolis built on a strip of land jutting out into the Persian Gulf.

Start off your visit on the 2nd (Wed): admire the striking features of Etihad Towers, then don't miss a visit to Observation Deck at 300, then admire the landmark architecture of Qasr Al Watan, and finally steep yourself in history at Qasr Al Hosn. On the 3rd (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, tour the pleasant surroundings at Corniche Beach, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

Belgrade, Serbia to Abu Dhabi is an approximately 10-hour flight. The time zone difference when traveling from Belgrade to Abu Dhabi is 3 hours. Plan for much warmer temperatures traveling from Belgrade in December, with highs in Abu Dhabi at 30°C and lows at 20°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Thu) early enough to go by car to Dubai.

Traveling by car from Abu Dhabi to Dubai takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of bus and train. In December in Dubai, expect temperatures between 31°C during the day and 21°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Sharjah.

Sharjah is just a stone's throw from Dubai. Traveling from Dubai in December, Sharjah is slightly colder at night with lows of 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Tue) to allow time to travel back home.
