Halmstad

Halmstad is a port, university, industrial and recreational city at the mouth of Nissan in the province of Halland on the Swedish west coast. Escape the urban bustle at Skrea Strand and Langasand Strand. Step off the beaten path and head to Ostra Stranden and Grimsholmen Nature Reserve. Venture out of the city with trips to Torekov (Hallands Vadero, Morgonbryggan, &more) and Skansenbadet (in Bastad). There's still lots to do: take in the pleasant sights at Steningekusten, get outside with Ostra Strandens Gokartbana, see the interesting displays at Mjellby Konstmuseum, and explore the activities along Nissan.
