Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. On the 4th (Sun), take in the awesome beauty at Nevis Range Mountain Resort, then take in the awesome beauty at Ben Nevis, then admire the sheer force of Steall Waterfall, and finally take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at The Three Sisters. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: identify plant and animal life at Highland Titles Nature Reserve, then appreciate the views at Glen Coe, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Glen Etive.
