8 days in Riga Itinerary

Often referred to as "The Paris of the North," Riga offers thriving nightlife and some of the best collections of Art Nouveau architecture in Europe.

Shop till you drop at Central Market (Centraltirgus) and Live Silver Museum. Spend the 11th (Tue) exploring nature at Gauja National Park. There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Jurmala Beach, contemplate the long history of House of the Black Heads, take a stroll through Old City Riga (Vecriga), and enjoy breathtaking views from View of Riga from St Peter's Church Tower.

If you are flying in from Saudi Arabia, the closest major aiport is Riga International Airport. In June in Riga, expect temperatures between 24°C during the day and 13°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Wed) to allow time to travel back home.
