A seaside playground in the Caribbean, Rincon was a small agricultural and fishing town until it hosted the 1968 World Surfing Championship.
On the 27th (Mon), visit a coastal fixture at El Faro Lighthouse, see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and then kick back and relax at Crashboat Beach. On your second day here, enjoy the sand and surf at Domes Beach, kick back and relax at Sandy Beach, and then kick back and relax at Playa Rompe Olas.

Isla de Vieques

For sixty years until 2003, most of the Isla de Vieques was closed off to the public, with the US Navy using the island's beaches and surrounding waters for drills and testing of new military machinery, such as bombs.
Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Caracas Beach and Sun Bay Beach. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like El Hombre de Puerto Ferro and Puerto Ferro Lighthouse.
