Once a village of humble fishermen, Marbella is now one of the most cosmopolitan beach resorts on Spain’s world-famous Costa del Sol, boasting swanky nightclubs, classy hotels, and expensive restaurants.
Start off your visit on the 22nd (Sat): scramble along the landscape with a canyoning and rapelling tour and then take in the pleasant sights at Marbella Old Town. Here are some ideas for day two: learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Bioparc, identify plant and animal life at Borrasca Experience, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Eco Reserva Ojen.

Porto, Portugal to Marbella is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Nerja is a municipality on the Costa del Sol in the province of Málaga in the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain.
