Volos is a coastal port city in Thessaly situated midway on the Greek mainland, about 330km north of Athens and 220km south of Thessaloniki. Venture out of the city with trips to Kalambaka (Roussanou Monastery, Holy Trinity Monastery (Agia Triada), &more), The Church Of St. George (in Larissa) and Agioi Saranta (in Chorefto).
