A beach resort city in the center of the country, Pichilemu has earned the title of Chile's "Surf Capital," gaining international acclaim as the host of numerous competitions.
Get out of town with these interesting Pichilemu side-trips: MontGras (in Palmilla) and Santa Cruz (Colchagua Museum & OWM). There's much more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Punta de Lobos, stroll through Playa La Puntilla, and explore the striking landscape at Salinas de Cahuil.
