Pécs is the fifth largest city of Hungary, located on the slopes of the Mecsek mountains in the south-west of the country, close to its border with Croatia. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Liliomkert Market and Kaposvar Plaza. Venture out of the city with trips to Hegyestu (in Monoszlo), Hegymagas (Szent Gyorgy Mountain & Szaszi Estate) and Villany (Wunderlich Winery and Wine Cellar, Gere Attila Pinceszete- Winery, & more). Spend the 22nd (Fri) exploring nature at Kapolnapuszta Buffalo Reservation. There's still lots to do: delve into the distant past at Early Christian Mausoleum, browse the different shops at Arkad Shopping Centre, go for a walk through Zsolnay Cultural Quarter, and make a trip to Szechenyi Ter.
