Ramallah ©
Founded in the 16th century, the small city of Ramallah has built a reputation as the "Cultural Capital of the West Bank," known for its open-minded religious attitude.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Ramallah: Genesis Land (in Alon), Jericho (Hisham's Palace & Mount of Temptation Monastery) and Bethlehem (Cave of St. Jerome, Milk Grotto, &more). Next up on the itinerary: take an in-depth tour of Dar Zahran Heritage Building, make a trip to Arafat's Tomb, do a tasting at Psagot Winery, and pause for some serene contemplation at Church of St. Lazarus.

To find where to stay, other places to visit, maps, and other tourist information, read our Ramallah trip itinerary builder tool.

Traveling by car from Gush Etzion to Ramallah takes 1.5 hours. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Sun) early enough to take a bus to Nablus.
