Naha
— 7 nights

Capital of the Ryukyu Kingdom
Naha, the capital of Okinawa, has deep roots: Stone Age relics have been found in the city, and through the Middle Ages it rose in importance in the Ryukyu Kingdom.Explore Naha's surroundings by going to Onna-son (Blue Cave, Cape Maeda, &more), Cape Zampa (in Yomitan-son) and Nanjo (Cape Chinen Park, Sefa-Utaki, &more). Next up on the itinerary: step into the grandiose world of Shurijo Castle, brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Sakimoto Shuzo Distillers, don't miss a visit to Tomari Iyumachi, and look for gifts at Wadama Honshinju Mother Sea.
To see ratings, reviews, more things to do, and other tourist information, read our Naha online trip itinerary maker.
Osaka to Naha is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and ferry; or do a combination of train, bus, and ferry. Traveling from Osaka in September, expect a bit warmer with lows of 30°C in Naha. You'll have a few hours on the 3rd (Sat) to wrap things up before traveling home.
