At the heart of British Columbia's wine country, Kelowna is at once both urban and rural, featuring a modern downtown encircled by picturesque hills carpeted with vineyards and orchards.
Start off your visit on the 13th (Sun): browse the exhibits of Hambleton Galleries, take in breathtaking views at Myra Canyon Park, and then see some colorful creatures with Kelowna Divers. Roughly translated from the Okanagan language, Penticton means "a place to stay forever," and it's not hard to see why.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Wed): awaken your taste buds at some of the top wineries in the area, then look for gifts at Penticton Visitor Centre, then hike along Kettle Valley Rail Trail, and finally take in the awesome beauty at Munson Mountain. On the 17th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: stroll around Skaha Lake Park, then admire the majestic nature at Skaha Bluffs Provincial Park, then learn about winemaking at Lake Breeze Winery, and finally look for all kinds of wild species at Naramata Falls.
